Description

We regard this experience as an ecological training. Along with you, we will practice a sustainable way of life. The volunteers will join our community and will do various tasks on the farm including organic agriculture, mud building and general maintenance of the farm.

* Basic Tour - See the practical solutions and demonstration facilities for recycling, conservation and treatment of water, solar energy, and various earth buildings and appropriate technologies. Please make a reservation ahead by calling us or email - Cost of the tour is 20 NIS

Workshops:

* Thank You Mother Earth - Sculpting and building with earth and objects found in nature.
* Food from the Earth to the Soul - The true meaning of food and how to get it. Getting to know edible weeds and preparing healthy food.
* Preparing an organic garden using Permaculture Principles - Basic knowledge and practical application. The topics include mulching, compost making, healthy soil, companion planting and more.
* Back to the Community - Understanding the human and environmental cost of globalization and the consumption society. Renewing the connection between the community and local cultural traditions
* Whole seminars in English could be provided upon request

Qualifications

We regard volunteering period as an opportunity to experience a new lifestyle. We prefer that you'll consume fresh basic vegetarian or vegan foods, instead of processed foods, soft drinks, packaged snacks and canned foods. We will guide you in cooking habits. You can purchase most of your necessary foods from us at a very low cost and freely pick produce from our gardens.
