Highlights

If you want to improve your English and would like to start out with getting a base in South Africa, it's a good idea to stay at a language school in Cape Town for a couple of weeks. It is a magnificent city with the most beautiful waterfront. Here, in an international environment of young people and safe surroundings, you get the chance to experience this amazing city, a first-hand impression of the African continent, new friends, etc., all while improving your English and get it tested in your daily life. Depending on your wishes, we find just the right course for you.

Do you want to play with a lion? Then you should go to Namibia, where you at "Noah's Ark" come in very close contact with the animals on the farm - a real hands-on-experience. To hug a cute lion cub, wrestle with playful cheetahs, change a baby monkey's diaper and "walk" an adult lion sounds as utopia. Something you see on TV or just a few people with great knowledge and many years of experience with large wild animals get to do. And yet - it can be you if you are lucky enough to get one of the popular spots as a volunteer on the project Noah's Ark. A unique experience!

If you have dreams about being a "ranger" and learn about Africa's wildlife and flora, you can test your skills as a "ranger" in the bush in South Africa's famed Kruger National Park in the midst of "The Big Five". At the same time you will be able to obtain certification as a Field Guide and be able to work on the surrounding safari lodges. The course is for people who really want to learn about the fascinating flora and fauna of the bush, and therefore are willing to spend hours both in the classroom as on practical field trips to acquire the necessary knowledge that make it possible to move among Africa's wild animals. You will not become a fully qualified game ranger in one month - but, if desired, you can manage to be a certified FGASA* Field Guide, which is the first step in the training and gives you access to work on safari lodges in South Africa. You can also skip the exam and just take in the knowledge and enjoy life in the bush. No matter what you choose, you will get an experience of a lifetime!

If you have a special interest in horses you can come to the horse farm, located in the same area. From horseback, it is possible to get really close to the animals, and every day is like a safari... As a volunteer you will be trained not only in horse care but also in all aspects of the local ecology with lessons in the bush wildlife, plants and environmental conservation. The program is especially for people who have a passion for horses and want to experience and learn more about the African bush.
