Description
CWC Children's Village - a Non Governmental and non for profit Organization, was founded by Rev. Hansen Mettle and his wife Mrs. Juliana Mettle in 1999. It mobilizes financial and material support to meet the needs of the under privileged and orphaned children of Africa.
The organization feeds, clothes, provides shelter and educate abandoned children. The children are housed with a "House Mother" who is a trained Social Welfare Officer. The organization also provides material support to rural women to help them set up small businesses.
An Orphan's Care Assistant is required to help the children throughout the day. This can entail getting food ready for them, helping them wash and brush their teeth, dressing the little ones, taking them to school, helping them with their home work and just generally giving them love, attention and a smile. Volunteers should be aware that the kids get up early!

We recruit volunteers and interns on behalf of organisations in need in Ghana. We have been working with organisations in Ghana for a long time and are well established and recognised as one of the largest recruiters of volunteers in Ghana. Our continued presence in Ghana allows us to ensure the needs of the volunteer and organisation are met. We hope our volunteers will become responsible global citizens as a result of their experience with us, promoting the need for social change and raising awareness in their home communities on the issues they encountered. Africa has a lot to offer but also needs support, the support it rightfully deserves. It is hoped that volunteers will bring the required expertise, enthusiasm and positive thinking to help organisations grow and improve their services to the community.
