Support Children in a Foster Home or Daycare Center in Argentina
Location: Argentina: Cordoba
Program Duration: 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks
Typical Duration of Program: 9-12 weeks
Description
Our children's projects aim to help children living in poverty by giving them love, care, and education. As a volunteer in one of these projects, your skills and compassion will help these children develop interpersonal skills and learn to create meaningful relationships with those around them. You will also be able to educate them about the opportunities available to them so that they may eventually become productive members of society. Duties will be serving breakfast, making beds, playing with children and assisting the older children with their homework. Assistance with staff operational procedures may also be needed. Volunteers should be sensitive to underprivileged children and human rights and willing to reach out, build relationships and foster growth.
Highlights
While volunteering in Argentina, you can experience the famous Argentine barbeque, or asado, a festive, communal event enjoyed by the locals, and explore a country known for its unique European flair in the heart of South America.
