Support Children living with HIV/AIDS in Argentina
Location: Argentina: Buenos Aires
Program Duration: 5-8 weeks, 9-12 weeks
Typical Duration of Program: 5-8 weeks
Description
Volunteers will provide educational support, love and guidance to children that are living with the reality of HIV or AIDS. These centers serve as a home or daycare center for children ranging from 6 years old to 16 years old who have either lost family members to the disease or are struggling to live with HIV/ AIDS themselves. Volunteers are especially encouraged to provide English lesions and initiate activities such as singing, dance and arts and crafts. Volunteers should be sensitive to underprivileged populations and human rights and willing to reach out, build relationships and foster growth.
