Description

AIDE Abroad's international volunteer program in Costa Rica provides opportunities to educate local school children, help conservation efforts, or provide medical care and attention to local communities. Program participants will also have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in Tico culture and pura vida, the relaxing way of life that has made Costa Rica famous. We offer placements throughout the country, where participants will have the opportunity to both explore nature and live with a Costa Rican host family.

Highlights

While volunteering in Costa Rica, you can explore the astonishing biodiversity for which this Central American country is known. Whether your interest is hiking, kayaking, surfing, zip-lining, or just relaxing on the beach, you will be able to combine some or all of these with your volunteer program. AIDE Abroad works with a variety of projects in Costa Rica, and we will work with you to place you in a project that will benefit both you and the local community.
