Description

This project needs volunteers to help with the daily routine. They can work in three different age groups: 0.5-2 years old, 2-3 years old and 3-5 years old. There's also a group of school children that comes for half-days to eat and to complete their homework.
There's a lot that volunteers can do. They appreciate initiative taken within their programs, but volunteers can also create different activities for the children.
Volunteers can also choose to help in the kitchen, buy food at the local market, and/or clean the different rooms.

Highlights

The organization helps the children of teenage and single mothers, as well as the children of financially needy families. For only USD5 every month the children receive education, food and a safe place to learn and play, while their mothers are looking for a job working, or studying.

Foundation Ninos de Waita Ticca aims to create a better future for this community and the children who participate in their programs.
This children's center relies on the help of volunteers to aide in caring for children from low-to-no income neighbourhoods in the South of Quito. The children at this placement are full of energy and benefit greatly from the compassionate, enthusiastic care given to them in all forms--educational and recreational.
