353-1350 Burrard Street Vancouver, British Columbia V6Z 0C2 Canada
Description
In 1997, apartment and workshop facilities were built in Rohrlack and Vichel for those with special needs. Social work is highlighted through intensive integration in the local community. In 2005 the community acquired another large facility with several smaller side buildings and a large park. However, there is still much work to be done! Many hands, heads, and a lot of optimism are needed to help maintain this building, which is under monumental protection. The renovation will be done in traditional adobe fashion, for example through artistic loam rendering.
Highlights
On the facility grounds there is a swimming hole, and bikes will be provided for you to explore the area with. Berlin is easily reached by train. The project dates are set so you can get to know some of the local youth before they take off for summer vacation.
