Description
Whether you volunteer in Africa with us for 1, 2 or 3 months, our Tanzania gap year programme is specifically designed to keep you off the well-worn backpackers trail but give you a taste of everything that makes this country a favourite with independent travellers. Our main projects are based outside Tanga, one of Tanzania's oldest coastal towns and in the Moshi area of northern Tanzania, in the foothills of Kilimanjaro. Our base at Tanga is situated in the heart of a rural coastal community literally on the Indian Ocean front. For the really adventurous you can use one of your weeks to climb Africa's highest mountains.
