Description

Volunteer as a teacher or within youth development and sports in Dublin and work to change the lives of children and teens through a variety of projects and activities throughout the local communities. Connect-123 volunteers could work in schools in lower-income areas, with centers working with at-risk youth offering sports and extra-curricular activities, working on children's literacy and creative writing workshops, or teaching English to asylum seekers. Volunteering in the field of sports can have a huge impact on the children you interact with. There are a range of different volunteer opportunities available, including using sports to promote team building, life skills, and personal development, coaching a team at a sports association, getting involved with one of the many community cultural centers offering extra-curricular activities and mentorship for young people.
