Description
Intern in a Buenos Aires Hospital. Interns work with a group of residents in a public hospital in the city of Buenos Aires. Within this group of residents, the participant will be able to:
* See the patients with the residents
* Assist in taking patient histories
* Observe examinations
Participants can also assist with an HIV/AIDS mobilization project or visit children with serious or chronic health problems in hospitals around the city. Both projects will give volunteers insight into the health issues Argentina is facing as well as help those the volunteers come into contact with.

Qualifications
The requirements for the medical program are:
* Resume in Spanish
* Letter of intent (explaining why you wish to volunteer at a hospital in Argentina)
* Confirmation of pre-med or medical school status (letter faxed or emailed by your university)
* University transcripts
* Intermediate or higher level of Spanish
