Description

You will be helping deprived communities in rural or urban areas to move towards a brighter and healthier future by contributing to community work in many different capacities, as well as enjoying the rich cultural heritage that this vast and magical country has to offer.

Visit a land rich in history and cultural delights when you take a gap year or year out in Bangladesh. Home to the longest beach in the world, ancient royal ruins and friendly passionate people, you'll find that this captivating part of the world has a lot to offer visitors. Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries on the planet making it a fascinating destination for travellers, this does however bring its attendant problems. The inhabitants of Bangladesh face many challenges associated with its huge population size combined with its underperforming economy and the annual cycle of catastrophic cyclones and floods.
