Description

Make a lasting difference through volunteering during this once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Poland, immerse yourself into the local community, and experience the culture firsthand. GeoVisions' Conversation Corps provides native English speakers a chance to live with a Polish family and teach them conversational English. This opportunity will be an amazing adventure of living in your teaching environment and being completely immersed in the culture of Poland. This position is incredibly unique and requires a lot of energy and dedication to working with the family and coming up with creative ways to help teach them English. We provide the materials and you provide the personality to liven up a family class or dinner conversation!

The Need: Volunteer 15 hours a week helping your host family with Conversational English. That's it. Many Polish families want to learn English or improve their English through conversation. They are willing to provide a private room and 3 home-cooked, healthy meals each day.

Highlights

* Travel for less. You put in a couple of hours each day literally talking, and the rest of your time is spent traveling and experiencing the Polish culture.
* Do you want to learn Polish or brush up on your language skills? If available near your placement, assistance is provided in identifying suitable language lessons.
* Exclusive materials written by GeoVisions staff will give you "a bag of tricks". Plus your free subscription to the ESL Lounge provide many items to help you with your conversations
* Tip the advantage to you by enhancing your resume by volunteering with the Conversation Corps. Job: "Private Language Tutor." References: Global. It just doesn't get any better than that.
* You "meet" your family in advance through email and phone calls. Each family is interviewed and carefully screened by in-country staff.
* Join our Facebook Fan page and begin the conversation now.
* Join our Online Community and read our volunteer's journals, view their photos and watch their videos.
