Description

Here at Give and Surf, spend your days volunteering in our preschool for the indigenous Ngobe indians ages 3-5, an after school program, adult English classes, and more! At Give and Surf you will have an incredible cultural immersion volunteer experience in a small island community and be living oceanfront while you explore the many wonderful parts of this island archipelago. For those interested in learning or improving their Spanish this is a great opportunity to give back to a deserving community and improve your language skills.

Give and Surf is dedicated to empowering the small indigenous Ngobe community of Bahia Honda through a number of community development programs. These include our Monso Chi Preschool, After School/Summer Camp, adult English classes, baseball team, construction projects, and a sustainable chicken project. Construction projects have included a playground, water tank installations, and a kitchen/dining hall for the school. Please visit our website to learn more!

You will be living oceanfront and enjoy daily activities, surf lessons, and more. We provide a unique cultural immersion experience with the indigenous Ngobe population of Panama and can cater to your individual needs as we are a small homegrown volunteer organization. Spend your free time exploring pristine beaches/islands, hiking into the jungle, boating around the islands, exploring bat caves, and of course surfing.
