Description
Teach English on the enchanting island of Crete. Language skills are crucial to success in virtually any profession. Help promising young students learn the international language of commerce, technology, and opportunity!
During the school year, and at summer language "camps," you're needed to work with students on English pronunciation and usage. Established classroom materials and curricula guide your lessons. You need no professional teaching experience. Your knowledge of standard pronunciation, idioms, and syntax is the resource they seek.
On some days, you'll meet your students for informal English language training. At other times, instructions may take the form of field trips, scavenger hunts, games or other organized events. Because conversational skills are emphasized over grammar, you need no previous or formal teaching experience to make a significant different. What's more, your assignment is in a beautiful seaside city on the exotic island of Crete!
Highlights
Work with youth in classrooms, small groups and summer camps. In your free time in the evening and on weekends, you can explore the archaeological, historical and cultural attractions around the island. This is an excellent way to give back while experiencing the real Greece!
