Description
Volunteering abroad in Eastern Africa is one of the most rewarding experiences both in terms of helping those in need and venturing to some of the world's most culturally unique places. As a volunteer in Tanzania your work may be a little intense as you volunteer in communities facing issues of prostitution, drug abuse, malnutrition, lack of education, unemployment, and little access to basic resources. However, you can also relax a little in your free time, as you'll be footsteps away from the best safari locations, a 30-minute flight from the culturally rich island of Zanzibar and a few minutes from the homelands of the fascinating Maasai tribe.
