Volunteer abroad in Argentina! We have numerous opportunities available to volunteers:
* Volunteer with orphans and street children.
* Intern in a medical clinic in an under-served part of town.
* Volunteer in a soup kitchen, helping to get food to the most needy residents of Buenos Aires (or other cities).
* Volunteer at a senior center for the poor.
* Volunteer at a center for children with mental or physical disabilities.
* Volunteer for an environmental organization.
* Volunteer with an Argentinean animal welfare organization.
Highlights
Argentina is one of the most captivating countries in South America. The country stretches from the Tropic of Capricorn in the North to the icy waters of Cape Horn. Between these extremes, the Andes tower above the Gran Chaco and the Pampas, home of the gaucho, before giving way to rugged Patagonia in the south. The incredible natural beauty lures hikers, skiers, mountain climbers, and other adventurers from all over the world while cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, one of the world's great capitals, attracts people looking for a 24 hour metropolis. Buenos Aires is often called the Paris of South America because of the European style architecture, cafes, boulevards, cultural venues, fine restaurants, and clubs. The people of Buenos Aires, called porteños, are known for their style and flair. They are as proud and as passionate as the tango, the dance they invented and continue to refine today.
