Description

Volunteer abroad in Nicaragua. Participants in the Women's leadership training program will help with the promotion and protection of human rights among maquiladora workers, advocacy program and the micro-credit program.

Located in the heart of Granada, the youth center provides meals and a wide variety of educational and vocational program for the needy youth of the region. Volunteers can get involved in sports, arts, music, English instruction, meal preparation and more.

Highlights

The beautiful city of Granada, located on Lake Nicaragua, retains its colonial charm. There is much to see and do in this region and there aren't many tourists to spoil the experience.
