Carpenter? Handyman? Anyone who is willing to shape better futures? Come to Nepal and be part of the construction projects. We are in constant need of someone who can perform maintenance on our facilities and who is capable of building shelving, desks and chairs etc. We are always looking for an innovative person to improve this side of the day to day running of our operations
Many small projects can be initiated by the volunteer. Sometimes you will arrive and see things that can be improved with your skills and we at Multi Explorer will always encourage this where and when it is practically and financially possible.
We are presently in great need of people with experience in all facets of painting. We are looking for exterior painters, mural and design painters along with classroom artists.
Firstly there is much need for us to keep all our project facilities in good order and there is always work for good trades' people to keep our orphanages and schools in good shape. It also enables the volunteer the chance to meet many of the children on a more casual basis as they will be very inquisitive and want to get to know you.
We are also very interested in mural, wall and classroom painters as this type of art gives the children a fun depiction of the outside world and a feel for free art.
Highlights
Most of the schools in rural Nepal consist of four wooden poles supporting a thatched roof. No blackboard. No desks. Few books. Open toilets, no proper classrooms, no playgrounds, no libraries.
Multi-Explorer Nepal places international volunteers in the neediest areas to construct or repair desperately needed buildings. Projects are usually funded by local communities and/or volunteer contributions. Projects may include building or repairs on bathrooms, toilets, classrooms, orphanage buildings and health clinics. Help is also required in plumbing, painting and decorating, providing drinking water, gardening or creating playgrounds and sports fields. As a volunteer in the Construction Program you will work as part of a volunteer team and so this placement is perfect for a group that want to work together.

Multi-Explorer Treks's Mission Statement
We, Multi Explorer Nepal, have been helping many helpless children and women. Over the past few years we have been providing food and clothing for 50 orphan children along with educational sponsorship. Through our women's development project, 30 women in Kathmandu are presently receiving day to day literacy classes along with skill training. We are proud to say that we have recently also opened a disabled centre with the capacity for 25 children with services in special education, physiotherapy and speech therapy. Along with our own health centre, we have affiliation with several hospitals throughout Nepal.We look forward to improve our quality and increase our projects or program for making better Nepal and for better future
