Description
Contribute to the vibrancy of a community by leading music courses in the Philippines for children at a thriving community center in Tacoloban City. Through this volunteering opportunity, youll be able to spend time with Filipino youth as you teach them instrumental or vocal music. While your role will be primarily working with children, as a volunteer you will be part of the larger organization of this successful community center that serves diverse community needs and empowers many Filipino families. Give the youth you teach an outlet for creativity and a space to experiment and build self-confidence. Summer months are the best time to volunteer, since students are no longer in school and spend their days at the community center. The minimum volunteering requirement is 10 hours per week for one week, but PAA strongly recommends more than one week.
