Peru Volunteer and Travel is a non profit organization, started by volunteers, that is committed to helping children, adults, animals and ecosystems of Peru. As volunteers we know exactly what you are looking to get out of your experience here in Peru. That is how we successfully place professional and student volunteers in a variety of projects every month and we guarantee our volunteers a life changing experience here in Peru.
We offer projects in various locations around Peru such as Cusco, Arequipa, Apurimac, the Amazon Jungle and more. Volunteers currently work with a wide-range of projects that suit all interests, skills and specialties. These include but are not limited to:

Our principal goal is to be the organization that cooperates the most with needy people in Peru in order to try to change their lives for the better. Of course, to do this, we need the help of our volunteers. That is why we make sure to offer affordable and rewarding programs for our volunteers and travelers.

We are dedicated to making a volunteer's time in Peru comfortable and safe so that they are able to dive into their work, make friends with other volunteers and get to know as many parts of Peru as they desire. We want our volunteers to enjoy their time in Peru that is why our programs include:
* Placement in your preferred type of volunteer project
* Volunteer project management and administration for your selected amount of time
* Room and board in your selected city for the duration of your project in either a home stay, shared apartment, or youth hostel (hotel or private apartment available for an extra fee)
* Three meals a day (in a home stay)
* Airport pick-up
* Safety and culture orientation upon arrival (usually Saturday)
* Program orientation on the first day of your program (usually Monday)
* Discounted Spanish Classes
* Certified Spanish Teacher
* Free Spanish placement exam
* Free Spanish textbook and materials
* Conversation exchange program

* Free Salsa Classes

Qualifications
Desire to Help: We enable volunteers with all types of experience to volunteer. Regardless of your skillset we will find the perfect project for you to spread goodwill and make a difference.
Basic Spanish: Although we do not require our volunteers to speak Spanish, knowledge of a little Spanish can greatly improve the volunteers experience in their project. We provide Spanish support by offering a Spanish survival skills course and regular Spanish classes for every level.
Be Proactive: Volunteers really enjoy their projects when they take initiative. Be it asking what they can do or simply being proactive and creating activities the most successful volunteers take the steps to really involve themselves in their program.
