Description

Teachers will be involved in daily teaching in classrooms and will be part of the teaching staff, material support for teaching will be provided to them so they can make notes for the next lesson or class. Sports-interested volunteers will have special time allocated to them so they can play and teach kids sports,/grade every class level has its day of sports and during recess time here kids do sports as well before leaving for home in the evening.

Counsellors are also needed because some kids are very much affected by family background, like orphans, kids whose family members are infected by hiv/aids or poor conditions at home.

This school has lunch feeding programme, volunteers will help in distributing food or arrange kids in line while being served. The school has an environmental club where kids participate in debates, cleaning activities and planting of trees, all this are the various things that volunteers can do at the school.

* Volunteers will visit Moshi town nearby where they will have outings on weekends.

Qualifications

* One who has interest working and developing education especially in marginalised areas. One who has teaching skills has more advantage, especially teaching english as alanguage,sports teachers are also needed, as well as people who have knowledge on handling primary school kids from grade one to grade seven.

* One willing to join us just sends us an email on the available dates they will be in tanzania then we start planning their programme.

* Anyone with environmental background is also of great importantanceto help kids learn about importance of conserving there environment at a tender age.

* One should be interested in knowing swahili language as well beacause this the main national language in tanzania, so if interested to learn Swahili.

* One should be self motivated and creative enough to be able to be with the kids for long hours and one who can make good freinship as well.

Cost Include Description:

The cost covers 100 USD goes towards administration and this is sent in advance before a volunteerr comes then we start all arrangements, the rest covers host family fees which involve food and accommodation then the rest covers pick from aiport by our staff and dropping of when one is leaving.

Administration cost also covers certificates which we give at the end of one programme, plus we do orientation on the first day of arriving and mid evaluation so that we access if volunteers are meeting their expectations. Covered also is the cost of travel from the airport to the work placements, when one arrives we take them to a hotel the first night then they travel by bus to the respective work placements all this is covered in the fees.
