Description
Come explore and teach in one of the poorest yet most magnificent countries in South America!
Presently this small rural school in Ecuador offers formal education and social skill development for children between three months old to early adolescent years. The school is divided into sections of the day care center and primary school. The aim of both sections is to provide children with a bilingual education to open up new vistas of a way out of poverty.
The children attending this school come from a range of low income living. Some children have families where their parents are making just the bare minimum to care for them. Other children, however, have either been abandoned or their parents do not have the social and/or financial means to care for them.
Here at this placement you will have the life-enriching experience to care and educate these incredible children while reaffirming that one person truly can make a difference!
