Teaching environmental conservation and putting in long hours outside to singing songs and knowing how to take control of a classroom effectively are some of the highly valued components to these programs.
The aims of all programs are to provide an improved quality of life while serving as agents of positive change in our society. Further, these programs work towards implementing higher standards of international child development and access to quality education. All of this is done by working side-by-side with local people, connecting with others from around the world and taking time for personal adventures.
You will be asked to work five days per week, four/five hours per day. After a hard week of work, the weekends are yours to enjoy! In your spare time, all volunteers are invited to take part in cooking, weaving, jewelry making, cloth dying, traditional Quechwa dance and music classes are all offered for a nominal price.
